Rebrand and New Website

Riverlands Chambers is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, marking an important step in the Chambers’ continued development and rebranding. The redesigned site offers a clear and modern platform for clients and colleagues to learn more about our barristers, areas of practice, and recent updates.

The new brand identity coincides with a relocation to Walker Street in central Christchurch. Riverlands Chambers is now based at Level 1, 40 Walker Street, placing us closer to the city’s legal services and court precincts while ensuring improved accessibility for clients.

Established in December 1995 by Nigel Dunlop and Rob Murfitt, Riverlands Chambers has a long tradition of providing high-quality legal advocacy and advice in Canterbury. Over the years, the Chambers has been based in a number of locations, including Riccarton’s State Insurance Building, before moving into central Christchurch. The shift to Walker Street represents the next stage in our story, combining modern facilities with the same commitment to excellence that has guided the Chambers for three decades.

The refreshed website provides concise barrister profiles, up-to-date contact details, and information on the services we provide across criminal, family, and civil law. It also offers a dedicated space for news and articles, where we will share insights, updates, and commentary relevant to the legal community.
