Hannah Reynecke is an employed barrister at Riverlands Chambers, practising in criminal law. 

She began her legal career in 2022 in a commercial law firm in Christchurch, where she worked in civil litigation with a focus on debt recovery, insolvency, and contractual disputes. In 2025, Hannah shifted her focus to criminal practice, bringing with her a strong foundation in litigation and a clear, client-focused communication style.

Hannah is a confident and practical advisor who is committed to supporting clients through what can often be a daunting and stressful time. She is particularly focused on making the law accessible, providing clear and straightforward advice, and ensuring her clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.

She holds an LLB with First Class Honours and a BA in History and International Relations from Victoria University of Wellington.
