Christopher Gullidge is an Barrister at Riverlands Chambers, specialising in criminal law.
Admitted to the bar in 2017, Christopher spent several years working at the Public Defence Service, where he gained broad experience across a wide range of criminal matters. In 2025, he joined Riverlands Chambers, as an employed Barrister, to continue his work in criminal defence in a more focused and independent setting. In 2026 he joined the independant bar.
Christopher completed his legal studies at the University of Otago and brings a thoughtful, measured approach to his practice. He values precision, fairness, and careful analysis of both the law and the context in which it is applied. His work is grounded in a commitment to clear communication and strong advocacy for his clients.
